Exciting stuff - Underwater Peoples are putting out a record for Alex Bleaker and the Freaks comprising, you've gueessed it, Alex Bleeker of Real Estate, Matt Mondanile (Real Estate, Ducktails), Martin Courtney IV (Real Estate) and Julian Lynch. A better part of it was recorded live in the basement of Julian's childhood home. This also happens to be the label's first full-length release. According to the press kit, "it's as classic and genuine as an adolescents Playboy collection or a fat, bald man in a Red Corvette." If that doesn't intrigue you, don't know what will. We already love these dudes and what they do in their respective bands, so it's interesting to see what they've conjured up in this lineup.
